Urban Realty Partners' principals possess over six decades of combined
experience in all major aspects of real estate investment and
development with strong ties to the Atlanta marketplace. The team has
participated in the development of over $200 million in urban and
in-fill real estate projects.
Mark B. Riley, Managing Partner

Mr. Riley is the founding partner and managing member of Urban Realty Partners.
He began his career as a real estate attorney at King & Spalding and later
joined Trammell Crow Residential where he was a partner and member of the
development team responsible for developing the Overlook office complex in
Atlanta. Mr. Riley's real estate career continued at Cousins Properties from
1990 to 1998, where he was Vice President, Development & Acquisitions and had
extensive experience in the company's various product lines.
Mr. Riley received B.A. and J.D. degrees from Vanderbilt University. He
is a member of the Atlanta District Council
of the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of
Industrial and Office Parks, and the Congress for the New Urbanism.
An active member of the Atlanta community, Mr. Riley is an At Large member of the
Atlanta Board of Education, Director of the Sartain Lanier Family Foundation, a
charitable foundation with a focus on improving education options in Atlanta,
and is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and the Regional Leadership Institute.
He is a member of the Atlanta Rotary Club and he holds, or in the past held, board
memberships on Central Atlanta Progress, The Trust for Public Land and The Georgia Trust for Historic
Preservation. He is an active alumnus of Vanderbilt University.
Peter Tartikoff, Financial
Advisor
Peter Tartikoff is a financial
advisor to the company on issues related to accounting, finance and
capitalization. Mr. Tartikoff was Senior Vice President and CFO of Cousins
Properties from 1986 through 1998. From 1999 through 2004, he was CFO of the
American Cancer Society. In addition to his work for Urban Realty Partners, Mr.
Tartikoff currently is a personal financial advisor for architect and real
estate developer John Portman, and has also served as a financial advisor to
Flagler Development Company.
Mr.
Tartikoff is a
CPA, and received the
Year 2000 Outstanding Member in Industry Award from the Georgia Society of
CPA’s. He received his BS in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute and his MBA With Distinction from Harvard Business School.
Robert Hughes, Development Associate

Mr. Hughes is responsible for assisting in all phases of
the organization’s project analysis and execution. These responsibilities
include underwriting, feasibility analyses and site selection as well as
contract negotiation, handling of governmental approval issues, coordinating
consultants and monitoring pro formas.
Mr. Hughes brings experience in various aspects of
development, mortgage brokerage, and asset management. In his most recent role
as Associate-Asset Management for Trimont Real Estate Advisors, Mr. Hughes
assisted with the repositioning and disposition of Lehman Brothers’ $1 billion
real estate owned portfolio, which included a diverse mix of property types and
business strategies. Mr. Hughes’ portfolio consisted primarily of condominium,
multifamily, office and retail investments. Previously, he was Analyst with
Holiday Fenoglio Fowler, LLP.
Mr. Hughes received a Bachelors of Science in Industrial
Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Simon J. Tuohy, Financial Officer and Development Associate

As Financial Officer, Mr. Tuohy is responsible for the
facilitation of all company financial matters. His primary role will be
handling financial reporting and tax work for the organization, in addition to
assisting in the financing and funding of current and future projects.
Mr. Tuohy has 5 years of experience in the financial
services tax department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he provided tax
consulting and compliance work for the some of the major firms in the arenas of
real estate, hedge funds and private equity. His time and experience at
PricewaterhouseCoopers began in the capital markets group in New York City where
he spent his first two and a half years with the company. He finished his work
at PWC two and a half years later when he relocated to Atlanta to join their
real estate group.
Mr. Tuohy received his B.S. in Accounting at Villanova
University. He is also a registered Certified Public Accountant.
